Making ideas happen in 2011

Earlier this year, The 99% polled it's community to take a pulse of making ideas happen in 2011. To answer questions like: How do creative projects really get pushed forward? What tools are you using to manage your time and energy? And, Are the ways we live and work as creative professionals undergoing major changes?

They transformed all this data into a lovely infographic which is sponsored by BlackBerry. Their findings are not that surprising. The respondents said that over 60% of their communication took place over email or instant message, outpacing face-to-face conversations by almost 3 to 1. At the same time, email was listed as the number one distraction from getting work done, with Facebook as a distant runner up. The 99% found that working from home is now almost as popular as the company office and that the best insights come during downtime.

About us

As children we had the freedom of imagination and creativity with no boundaries. At school and as adults we are encouraged away from imagination and day dreaming, to think in a structured, process driven way. We disagree with this. We challenge this. Imagination and creativity are gifts that we are all given, and we can develop and encourage them, not throw them away. Free Thinking® is our approach to life, to creativity, to advertising campaigns, to graphic design. We challenge the way things are done, created, agreed, made.
