Shuu.sh is a prototype by BERG. It is a web-based Twitter reader that displays the updates of the people you follow in relation to the frequency of their tweets. It aims to amplify the people that don't usually get heard, and scale back those with frequent updates. Eah follower is assigned a frequency level of 1-11.
Creator, Alice Bartlett's code simply assigns a "frequency level" to everyone you follow. As you can see the first time we used it WolffOlins was displayed in a huge type, while Bournemouthecho, is so small we needed a magnifying glass to read it. Shuu.sh adjusts the messages shown so that instead of seeing all tweets automatically as they come, they are adjusted to show those that tweet less often and reducing those that tweet more frequently. Too much tweeting can be one of the reasons to unfollow someone, so Shuu.sh is offering a service that benefits both sides.
Shuu.sh was a two week internal project at BERG. It is an experimental tool and will be built on in the future.
