The National's latest single Exile, Vilify was first used in the video game Portal 2 whose developers, Valve Software, held a competition to find the best fan-made music video for the track. Choosing a winner proved difficult for Valve who turned to the band members to select a winner from 320 entries. The winning clip (below), filmed, directed and edited by C.F.Meister involves some very doleful sock puppets which seem to accompany the melancholic track strangely well...
