Absolut Fringe, a 16 day festival of theatre, comedy, music, dance & spectacle, began last weekend in Dublin. The festival has been running or 17 years and is Ireland's largest multi-disciplinary arts festival, staging up to 525 events in over 40 venues. For artists, the festival provides an opportunity to 'innovate, to cross disciplines and boundaries and to find new ways and places to create work.' Audiences can expect to find a 'dream factory' of creative talent, a wide platform for which to find some of the most talented emerging arts companies in Ireland.
Absolut are known for their association with the arts and their creative projects. We blogged about an earlier project here and CR have released an exclusive post on the latest exhibition which is part of the Fringe.
