AOL Rainbow City

In association with AOL's Artists (find out more here), Miami's FriendsWithYou have created an installation called Rainbow City comprising of 40 colourful, stripey, air filled figures. The installation celebrates the opening of a new 10 block park in New York's High Line and has been designed to create a fun, playground for everybody, where some installations can be played with.

The site also includes a pop-up shop selling limited edition AOL products and some smaller versions of the installation work.


Paper Magazine and AOL first hosted Rainbow City in December 2010 at Miami Art Week and went on to cover Art Basel Miami 2010. Rainbow City NY kicked off with a VIP event within the installation with a live performance by Pharrell and N.E.R.D and will run until July 5.
