"Magic, mayhem and the original living doll."
The Birmingham Royal Ballet have invited 27 designers and artists to produce an individual artwork based upon to tale of Coppélia, in which Doctor Coppélius attempts to bring his most prized possession to life.
Pointe Blank is a new collaboratve project created by Birmingham Royal Ballet and curated by Claire Hartley, who approached the artists individually, with the only requirement in the brief that the work must include some reference to the Birmingham Royal Ballet.
The result is an amazing array of colourful and original posters that are fresh and exciting.
